Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and valid Occupational Therapy license
  • Experience with pediatric populationsschool-based experience highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and learning

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students functional abilities within the school environment
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans aligned with student IEPs
  • Work as an integral member of the educational team, collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Provide direct therapy services and consultative support both in classroom and pull-out settings
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress
  • Educate and train staff and caregivers on strategies to facilitate student participation across school activities
