Job Description

This exciting contract opportunity near Burlington, IL, offers flexible optionsselect either full-time at 37.5 hours per week or part-time at 32 hours per week to best suit your needs. Youll collaborate with supportive educational teams to foster student growth throughout the 2026-2027 school year, with two openings available.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Occupational Therapy License
  • Experience in school-based settings is highly valued
  • Familiarity with K-12 student populations and a variety of learning needs
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff
  • Commitment to promoting student independence and academic success

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students needs and create individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services within classrooms and designated OT spaces
  • Work closely with educators to support educational goals and accommodations
  • Monitor progress, maintain thorough records, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with families and school staff to ensure comprehensive support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations that benefit students learning environments
  • Educate staff and parents on strategies and adaptive equipment usage when appropriate
