Bring your Occupational Therapy expertise to a vibrant school district and make a meaningful impact in the lives of students! This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 17, 2026, through May 20, 2027, providing the chance to support an engaging and collaborative district community.
Work alongside a fellow OT as you help manage a caseload comprising approximately 400-500 students with IEPs. Assignments are thoughtfully divided, ensuring balanced responsibilities and partnership. All assigned schools are located within close proximity, only blocks apart, allowing for easy movement between locations during the week.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license appropriate for school setting
- Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Adaptable and comfortable working onsite across multiple school locations
What Youll Do:
- Provide therapy services and interventions directly to students with IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and fellow OT
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to student progress tracking
- Travel between nearby schools as needed throughout the workweek
