Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity dedicated to making an impact in the lives of students from PreK through 8th grade. This full-time position is located in the vibrant Buckeye, AZ area and is set to begin in early August, continuing through the 2026/27 school year. As a school-based Occupational Therapist, you will engage with students and staff across a 40-hour workweek, delivering essential therapy and support that enable students to achieve their educational goals.

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Current Arizona Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • IVP fingerprint clearance card (must be active or in process)
  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting students with diverse needs
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students motor skills, sensory needs, and adaptive functioning within an educational environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create and modify Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy services and consultative support across PreK-8th grade
  • Monitor student progress and document outcomes to ensure compliance and effectiveness
  • Participate in parent meetings, IEP reviews, and staff trainings as required
