Step into a rewarding opportunity working onsite as an Occupational Therapist supporting students near Broomfield, CO. This part-time contract role runs from August 13th, 2026 to May 20th, 2027, offering a chance to make a real difference during the school year.
As an essential member of a dedicated school team, youll work with a caseload of approximately 20 students, helping to foster their growth and independence. Your specialized expertise will play a critical role in providing assessments, designing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and families.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state required
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Understanding of IEP process and documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and parents
- Must meet any district or state-specific guidelines for school-based OTs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop appropriate goals for student progress
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing progress and recommending accommodations
- Support teachers and families in integrating strategies in the classroom and at home
