This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic school environment, engaging with a dedicated caseload and collaborating with supportive educational professionals. The assignment takes place during the academic year from August 13th, 2026, through May 20th, 2027, with a manageable part-time schedule of 1.5 days per week (16 hours) and a caseload of 20 students. All services are delivered onsite, ensuring direct connection and positive rapport with students and faculty.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license (required)
- Experience working within school settings or with pediatric populations is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals
- Commitment to maintaining professional documentation and adhering to school and professional standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a select student caseload in accordance with IEP requirements
- Collaborate closely with educators, special education staff, and family members to support student success
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and contribute actively to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Monitor, track, and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Provide consultation and recommendations for classroom accommodations and modifications
