Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
- Previous experience serving school-aged children or working in school-based settings highly valued
- Skilled in developing, implementing, and adapting individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage documentation and progress tracking effectively
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to a diverse student population, addressing IEP goals and functional needs
- Develop and adapt treatment plans based on student assessments and educational team input
- Maintain clear records on student progress, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Offer recommendations for classroom modifications and assistive technology to promote student participation
- Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapeutic approaches within the school environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress with families and educational partners
