Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of New York
- Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably within a school environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Ability to develop and implement individualized and group therapy plans
- Familiarity with IEPs and the unique needs of diverse student populations
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable in dynamic educational settings
Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine their functional abilities and needs within the school environment
- Design and implement therapeutic interventions that support educational goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights for individualized plans
- Document progress and adjust interventions as necessary to maximize student success
- Educate teachers and support staff on strategies that facilitate inclusion and independence
- Provide guidance to families to encourage skill development at home

Compensation for this position ranges from $26.36 to $65.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
