Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current MA licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging with educators, students, and families
  • Ability to adapt and develop individualized strategies for students with a variety of needs
  • Efficient organizational skills and proactive problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff to adapt the learning environment
  • Offer direct and consultative services to students in classroom and one-on-one settings
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Train and support school staff on best practices for accommodating students sensory or physical needs
  • Promote student participation in classroom and school activities, focusing on building functional skills
