Make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary school students by utilizing your expertise as an Occupational Therapist. This contract position offers a supportive environment where youll help young learners in the Attleboro, MA area develop critical skills and thrive academically.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Massachusetts (MA)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities to work with teachers, parents, and school staff
- Understanding of IEP processes and the ability to document progress effectively
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach for working with children of varied abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary-age students per individual education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each students goals
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide resources and training to educators to promote student success and classroom accessibility
