Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Occupational Therapy (OT) License required
• Experience or interest in working with school-aged children (K-12)
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
• Professional, organized, and adaptable approach to meeting diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Conduct assessments to determine students needs and develop intervention plans
• Collaborate with general and special education staff to support inclusive classroom environments
• Provide consultation and support for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment
• Maintain thorough and timely records of services and student progress
• Attend IEP meetings and participate in multispecialty team discussions
