A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support students in a school setting located in Bridgeport, CT. This role involves working closely with educators and staff to provide therapeutic services that enhance student development and participation in educational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans to support students occupational therapy needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapeutic goals within the classroom environment.
• Use a variety of intervention techniques to improve students fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as required.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license and relevant certifications.
• Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy assessment and intervention.
