Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Active state OT license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Prior experience working with children or adolescents in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Familiarity with current best practices in pediatric occupational therapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students needs and develop treatment interventions to support academic and functional success
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to development of goals and accommodations
  • Provide direct therapy sessions (individual and group) tailored to each students needs
  • Educate staff and families on strategies and resources to further student independence
