Job Description

This contract opportunity is ideal for a full-time Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who thrives in a collaborative educational setting and is ready to start as soon as possible through early December.

Bring your expertise to a school environment, working regular daytime hours (8:30 AM 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday), and help empower students to achieve their fullest potential. This role offers the chance to work closely with a multidisciplinary team, play a pivotal part in students academic and personal growth, and sharpen your own skills in a supportive setting.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current CT Occupational Therapist or COTA license required
  • Experience with school-aged children (K-12) is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for supporting students educational and developmental needs

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing appropriate intervention plans
  • Providing direct therapy services to support students IEP goals
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and other support staff
  • Maintaining thorough, timely documentation in accordance with district and state regulations
  • Participating in team meetings and advocating for student needs
