Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid WA OT license and ESA certification (Educational Staff Associate)
  • Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI required prior to start
  • Previous school-based occupational therapy experience preferred

  • Adaptability to work with diverse grade levels and student needs
  • Commitment to maintaining ethical, student-focused, and confidential practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive OT services to students, with specific caseloads determined by grade band alignment and school needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement effective strategies
  • Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
  • Support student participation in classroom activities and school routines
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and ensure compliance with all legal regulations
