Key Qualifications:
- Current Washington OT license and Educational Staff Associate (ESA) credential required
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Strong knowledge of interventions for various motor function disabilities
- Comfort working with students across a wide range of ages and abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to interview via phone or Zoom
- Collaborative mindset for engaging in IEP meetings and working closely with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide therapy interventions to students with all types of motor function challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
- Support students in participating fully in classroom and school activities
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to optimize student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Offer resources and training to staff and families as needed
