Step into a meaningful role supporting young learners as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school-based setting near Boston, MA. You'll be working onsite, collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to deliver targeted speech and language services. This position provides a consistent weekly schedule of 35-40 hours, ensuring both stability and an engaging workload.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist License
- Prior school-based SLP experience or a passion for working in educational settings
- Familiarity with the needs of preschool-aged children
- Ability to create individualized treatment plans and adapt strategies to support diverse learners
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and evidence-based practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students speech, language, and communication abilities within the preschool population
- Design and implement individualized intervention plans to address identified needs
- Maintain detailed records and monitor student progress
- Collaborate regularly with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
- Provide consultative support and resources to families and staff
