Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current and valid OT license (or eligibility) in Idaho
- At least one year of experience providing occupational therapy services, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
- Working knowledge of IEP development and goal-setting
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services tailored to students unique strengths and challenges
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide training and support to school staff and families on best practices for fostering student independence
- Adapt educational materials and environments to support student inclusion and success
