Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license
• School-based OT experience highly preferred
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and special education regulations
• Familiarity with performing screenings and assessments for preschool-aged students
• Skill in collaborating with evaluation and IEP teams
• Ability to provide effective consult and direct OT services
• Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to contribute positively to a team environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide screenings and comprehensive assessments for incoming and current preschool students
• Participate actively in evaluation meetings and IEP team decision making
• Deliver both consultative and direct therapy services to children in a special needs preschool environment
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress and participation
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all evaluations and interventions
• Share expertise to help shape programming and accommodations for students occupational needs

This is a part-time opportunity, requiring your expertise three days per weekideally Tuesday through Thursday, though flexibility for Monday through Wednesday is available. Hours are 8:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., with the potential for expanded hours should the centers program continue to grow.
