Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Prior experience working in school settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP process and student goal setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and other team members
• Ability to develop and implement creative, individualized therapy plans for diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students functional abilities related to learning and classroom participation
• Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving students fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive skills
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional recommendations and progress updates
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services within a variety of educational environments
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services, progress, and ongoing therapy needs
• Provide resources, strategies, and training to teachers and caregivers for classroom success
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure inclusive support for every student
