Qualifications:

• Active New Mexico occupational therapist license is required
• Experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
• Familiarity in working with children and adolescents in elementary, middle, and high school environments
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and adapt therapeutic activities appropriately
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and families
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage caseloads effectively

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for students referred for occupational therapy services
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family members to support student success in the classroom and beyond
• Document progress, complete required reports, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide direct and consultative services to ensure students receive maximum benefit from interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input for the development of educational interventions
