Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an OT in North Dakota
• Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience highly desirable
• Ability to assess student needs and develop tailored treatment plans
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Dedication to maintaining thorough documentation and complying with all relevant guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine their unique therapeutic needs in the academic setting
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
• Partner with teachers, school staff, and parents to discuss student progress and adapt strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
• Educate school staff on best practices for supporting students occupational needs
