You'll work alongside dedicated colleagues to support students growth and independence, providing OT services tailored to a range of individual needs in individual, small group, and integrated settings.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Alabama OT certification/license (must provide proof prior to start)
- Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric OT settings strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple sites
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Flexibility to adapt to varying caseload needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services (individual, small group, push-in) to a caseload of 50-60 students across four schools
- Deliver services according to IEPs (30-min sessions: weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly as required)
- Assess, plan, and document interventions supporting students educational participation
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to maximize student progress
- Maintain a consistent daily schedule, onsite, Monday through Friday, 7:45 am3:45 pm
