Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based position near Birmingham, Alabama. This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working with students and collaborating with educators and school staff to support student success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students based on their individual needs and IEP goals
  • Complete evaluations and assessments as needed
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other members of the student support team
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
  • Support students in improving their ability to participate successfully in the school environment

Qualifications

  • Active Alabama Occupational Therapy license
  • Appropriate OT credentials/certification
  • School-based experience is preferred, but not required
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
