Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current OT license (or eligibility) for practice in Alabama

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Creativity in adapting tasks for students with diverse abilities
  • Commitment to evidence-based and student-centered practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer evaluations and develop individualized intervention plans
  • Provide direct and consultative OT services to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff for student support
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records per guidelines
  • Contribute to IEP meetings, offering expertise for accommodations
  • Support safe access and participation in school routines and activities
