Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT licensure in Montana (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Creative problem-solving abilities to adapt interventions for diverse student needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students using standardized assessments to identify motor, sensory, and functional needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) in coordination with educators and families
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to help students achieve academic and developmental goals
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaborations, and ongoing professional development
- Offer training and support to teachers and families, facilitating carry-over of strategies in various school environments
