Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT licensure in Montana (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Creative problem-solving abilities to adapt interventions for diverse student needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students using standardized assessments to identify motor, sensory, and functional needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) in coordination with educators and families
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to help students achieve academic and developmental goals
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with school and legal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaborations, and ongoing professional development
• Offer training and support to teachers and families, facilitating carry-over of strategies in various school environments
