Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Michigan
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in a school setting (elementary, middle, or high school)

  • Ability to create and implement effective therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Adaptable and organized, capable of managing caseloads across different grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine needs for occupational therapy services
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student participation in educational activities
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing student progress discussions
