Make a difference in the lives of K-12 students as you deliver Occupational Therapy services in a dynamic school environment. This full-time contract opportunity offers 36.25 hours each week, with days running from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, and is available to both local and travel professionals. You'll have the chance to work onsite alongside educators and families, supporting students with a wide range of needs, including Autism, cognitive impairments, emotional impairments, learning disabilities, and various other health conditions.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations
• Familiarity with IEP process and documentation practices
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning and behavioral challenges and modify interventions accordingly

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive OT assessments and help determine students developmental and functional needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
• Work closely with special education staff to ensure therapy supports student success in the classroom
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required
• Provide ongoing education to families and staff regarding strategies and accommodations
