Make a meaningful impact supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school settings as an Occupational Therapist at a welcoming district near Bernalillo, NM. This in-person, full-time contract position offers the chance to work closely with a diverse group of approximately 30 studentswith a primary focus on elementary populationshelping them reach their academic and developmental goals.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
• Comfortable working across all age groups: elementary, middle, and high school
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions to meet varied student needs
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students, focusing mainly on elementary-aged children
• Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and families to create and implement effective intervention plans
• Assess students needs and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and adaptations
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and advocating for student success
• Engage with school staff for ongoing training and consultation
