Job Description

You'll partner with a diverse school community dedicated to fostering inclusion and meeting children's unique needs in an educational setting. Guiding students toward independence, you'll craft interventions and accommodations designed for their growth and success in the classroom and beyond.

What youll bring:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in NM (OT)
  • Experience providing OT services in school settings, with a focus on supporting K-12 students
  • Strong understanding of IEPs, assessments, and therapeutic strategies within educational environments
  • Collaborative, communicative approach when working with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Adaptability, empathy, and a student-centered mindset

Your key responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions for students at elementary and secondary levels
  • Assess students functional abilities, develop treatment plans, and set goals in coordination with IEP teams
  • Provide consultation and training for teachers regarding sensory, fine motor, and adaptive strategies
  • Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress, and compliance with school and federal requirements
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive climate for all

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with a consistent 37.5-hour workweek.
