This assignment covers the full academic year, running from early August through late May.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license is required
  • Proven experience in school-based OT settings or comfort working with pediatric populations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with educational staff, families, and students
  • Adaptable to both on-site and virtual (VOCO) service delivery models
  • Able to manage time across a diverse caseload, meeting varied student needs
  • Strong documentation, assessment, and reporting skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students according to IEP goals
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Foster positive working relationships with school staff, administrators, and families
  • Participate in student meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development as needed
  • Maintain thorough, timely records in compliance with school and district guidelines
  • Adjust interventions and strategies to address diverse learning styles and functional needs
