Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current, active Occupational Therapist license (OT) in the state of Connecticut, or eligibility for licensure
• Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably within a school or pediatric setting
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, assessments, and documentation standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to manage time efficiently and adapt to diverse caseloads
• Familiarity with sensory integration, fine and gross motor interventions, and evidence-based therapy strategies

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students to enhance participation and performance in daily school activities
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services as outlined in students IEPs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement classroom modifications or interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and required reporting for compliance
• Educate and support teachers, staff, and families to promote student success and independence
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and ongoing communication with stakeholders
