This position focuses on delivering vital OT services to K-12 students, ensuring they receive individualized support in educational settings. Expect a dynamic, hands-on role working solely on-site in partnership with educators and school staff across various campuses.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist License issued by the state
- Experience providing school-based OT services, preferably to K-12 populations
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Flexibility in managing rotating caseloads within an assigned geographic area
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaborative skills
- No educator credential required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized OT interventions for students across assigned schools
- Work closely with teaching teams, special education staff, and families to ensure integration of therapeutic goals
- Support students of varying abilities in improving their functional participation within the classroom
- Travel to multiple sites within the San Francisco area as assigned (itinerant role)
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to multidisciplinary IEP meetings as needed
- Provide consultation and resources to staff to maximize student outcomes
This position offers a 37.5-hour workweek on a school-year contract (August 11, 2026, to June 2, 2027), serving a vital function within an energetic educational environment.
