A contract opportunity is available for a credentialed Occupational Therapist to provide essential support within a school setting in Solano County, CA. This role focuses on delivering occupational therapy services to students aged 5 to 22, with options for extended school year programming. The position offers 0.8 FTE with a potential to increase to full-time, requiring 8 billable hours per day.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapy sessions to enhance students functional abilities and educational success. The therapist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support each student's progress in a dynamic school environment. Services may include teletherapy modalities as applicable.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid California OT license
- Experience working with school-age children, preferably ages 5-22
- Ability to provide both in-person and teletherapy services
- Strong communication and teamwork skills within educational settings
- Comfort working in a contract position with multiple agencies present in the district
- Flexibility to support 0.8 FTE with possibility for full-time engagement
