Job Description

This contract opportunity covers the 20252026 school year, beginning in mid-August and extending into June, with options to continue during Extended School Year (ESY) as well.

What Youll Bring:

  • Current California Occupational Therapist license (CA OT) and the credentials necessary to practice in schools
  • Experience with school-based OT, teletherapy platforms, or a keen interest in developing these skills
  • Commitment to serving diverse learner populations, including elementary, secondary, and transition-aged students
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, ideal for working across multiple schools if needed
  • Comfort working independently and flexibly within district guidelines

What Youll Do:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions and assessments tailored to each students educational needsprimarily in-person, with the possibility of teletherapy services if indicated
  • Manage an assigned caseload, completing required documentation and collaborating with special education teams
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and school consultations, contributing your expertise to foster student independence
  • Adapt to varied settings as needed, with the possibility of working in multiple school sites
