Step into an engaging contract opportunity to provide vital Occupational Therapy services in a supportive school setting near Berkeley, CA. This position focuses on helping students aged 522 develop essential life and academic skills, with a flexible caseload and schedule. With a start date of August 13, 2025, and an end date in June 2026, this role supports both in-person and potential teletherapy interventions, meeting diverse student needs. There is a primary assignment of 0.8 FTE, with the possibility of transitioning up to full-time across multiple school sites.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid and current California Occupational Therapist (CA OT) license required
• Previous experience in school-based therapy or teletherapy strongly preferred
• Comfort working with a wide age range (elementary through transition-age students, 522 years old)
• Familiarity with IEP processes and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach
• Experience with ESY (extended school year) is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop therapy goals, and deliver individualized and group OT interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to facilitate students functional progress
• Maintain detailed records and complete all required documentation promptly
• Offer services in-person and/or via teletherapy, based on student and district needs
• Support seamless service provision throughout the academic calendar, including extended school year as needed
