Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Experience working with diverse student populations preferred
  • Knowledge of school-based OT practices and IEP documentation
  • Familiarity with a variety of age groups (EC, elementary, middle, and high school) is advantageous
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other specialists
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

What Youll Do:

  • Conduct assessments and implement treatment plans tailored to each students needs
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and improving functional independence
  • Consult with teachers and staff to recommend classroom modifications and strategies
  • Maintain accurate records, including progress notes and reports for IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support students educational goals
  • Provide direct therapy and skill-building in both individual and group settings
