Make a difference in the lives of students by providing Occupational Therapy services in a dynamic K-12 school setting for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is ideally suited for a compassionate, skilled Occupational Therapist ready to support approximately 40 students near Rockton, IL.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Experience in school-based OT or working with K-12 populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and other support staff
- Ability to design and deliver interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Passion for fostering student growth, independence, and academic success
Role Highlights:
- Assess students and develop individualized therapy plans to promote fine motor, sensory, and functional skill development
- Deliver direct and indirect therapeutic interventions in classroom and small group settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals and student progress
- Document services and maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Engage with staff and families to share strategies, accommodations, and progress reports
- Adapt and modify learning environments or materials to encourage full student participation
