Youll work a steady 37.5-hour week, collaborating with dedicated educators and support staff to foster positive outcomes for a diverse group of learners. Your expertise will help students achieve success in both academic and daily living skills through individualized and group interventions.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapy (OT) License
- Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric OT settings preferred
- Ability to adapt strategies for early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school students
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in school environments
- Develop and implement effective, individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support students' goals
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and participate in IEP meetings where appropriate
