This contract opportunity near Rockford, IL offers the chance to work throughout the 26/27 school year with a consistent 37.5-hour work week. Work with a diverse caseload across all age groups, from early childhood and elementary students to middle and high schoolers, making a lasting impact in their academic and developmental journeys.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Illinois
  • Previous experience in school-based therapy preferred, but not required
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric and adolescent OT practices within educational environments
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students unique needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide both direct and consultative OT services to students across all grade levels
  • Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and complete ongoing documentation as required
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student access to the curriculum
  • Deliver interventions that promote fine motor skills, daily living activities, and sensory processing
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain compliance with district and state regulations
