Step into a key role supporting students as a full-time Occupational Therapist in a vibrant school-based environment near Belvidere, IL. Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active Occupational Therapist license for Illinois
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare OT preferred
- Comfortable with on-site service delivery and collaborating with school staff
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Adaptable, team-oriented, and committed to student development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support students goals
- Maintain detailed, compliant documentation of therapy sessions and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise as part of the multidisciplinary team
- Adjust caseload focus as needed based on district and student needs
