Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is actively hiring a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, on-site position in Machesney Park, Illinois. This position is available immediately and offers a flexible caseload in a supportive school setting. Were seeking an enthusiastic OT ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services to students in a K-12 educational environment
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Assess student needs and deliver interventions to support physical, sensory, and cognitive development
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
Participate in meetings and professional development relevant to student therapy services

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current Illinois Occupational Therapist license
Experience in both healthcare and school settings is highly preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work within an educational team
Ability to manage a flexible caseload based on district needs
Commitment to enhancing student success through tailored therapeutic interventions
