Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active Wisconsin Occupational Therapy license (OT)
- Relevant experience within pediatric, school, or educational settings preferred
- Ability to adapt interventions and communication strategies to a diverse student population
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, families, and support staff
- Commitment to meeting district-specific compliance standards and documentation requirements
- Additional district or state certifications as needed (please inquire for any current specifics during your interview)
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine needs, set goals, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services within a school-based framework
- Collaborate with teachers and staff on accommodations, classroom strategies, and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate records, data, and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal planning
