Qualifications:

• Current New Hampshire Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous school-based experience highly preferred
• Proven ability to work effectively with students from elementary to high school age
• Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Dedication to fostering student independence and participation in both academic and social contexts

Responsibilities:

• Assess students to identify strengths and areas of need, using a variety of assessment tools
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support student participation in daily school routines and academic tasks
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to modify environments and curricula for student success
• Document therapy progress and maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school policies
• Educate families and staff on strategies to support students occupational therapy needs both at school and at home
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and recommendations
• Travel between elementary, middle, and high school locations as needed
