Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Ohio
  • Certification through the Ohio Department of Education (ODE)
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students with varying needs, in both individual and group settings
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, aligned with students educational goals and IEPs
  • Conduct assessments and interpret results to recommend appropriate interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records according to school and state guidelines

Position Details:

  • 31 hours per week
  • Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am 3:15 pm, with the potential to add Fridays as caseload grows
  • Contract position working within a supportive school environment
