Desired Qualifications:

• Current Michigan occupational therapist license
• Experience working in educational or school-based settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet diverse student needs
• Proficiency in evaluating students and developing individualized intervention strategies

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' motor skills and functional abilities within the school context
• Develop customized treatment plans to support each students educational goals
• Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups, across elementary, middle, and high school settings
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to integrate therapy into the learning environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed for optimal outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
• Maintain complete and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and school policies
