Desired Qualifications

  • Active Occupational Therapy license and appropriate Illinois credentials
  • Experience in schools, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy OT settings
  • Comfort with itinerant travel between sites, serving students at multiple schools
  • Familiarity with IEP documentation and school-based caseload management
  • Adaptable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse student caseload
  • Travel between assigned schools as needed; mileage is paid
  • Develop, implement, and document IEPs in the districts chosen system (training provided)
  • Attend team meetings and participate in indirect/administrative hours, as scheduled
  • Collaborate closely with educational staff and families
  • Maintain thorough records and provide ongoing progress updates
