Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in educational settings by providing essential occupational therapy services to students. In this contract role, youll support learners growth, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure students can access and participate in their educational environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification and license to practice Occupational Therapy
- Previous experience or strong interest working in schools or with pediatric populations
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Creative problem-solver with a passion for helping students meet their goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to identify functional needs and create targeted intervention plans
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services, including both group and one-on-one sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, families, and administrators to support student success
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to team discussions
- Document progress and maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with school procedures
- Adapt therapeutic techniques and interventions to meet individual student needs in the school environment
