Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license in the state of Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
- Commitment to fostering student success and inclusivity
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, develop, and carry out individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students educational goals and participation
- Document assessments, progress, and outcomes in compliance with relevant regulations and school policies
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing expertise to guide student supports
- Deliver direct and consultative services in both individual and group settings
- Recommend adaptive strategies, tools, and interventions to improve students access to learning
