Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students aged 621 at a specialized school operating on an 11-month schedule. This contract-based opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist offers a diverse caseload and the chance to travel between schools in the Baltimore, MD area. Youll be part of a collaborative, supportive environment, working full-time at 40 hours per week, with the responsibility to deliver therapy services in person. This role is not open to COTAs.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school, teletherapy, and healthcare settings
  • Background in delivering OT services within schools and home health contexts
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
  • Experience working with children and young adults with specialized needs, ages 621
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while traveling between locations as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, supporting their individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and regularly evaluate student progress
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, parents, and administrators
  • Implement therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings
  • Travel to assigned locations as part of an itinerant schedule (travel is compensated)
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and healthcare guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the ongoing improvement of programs
