Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapy license (OTR/L) in Maryland
• Proven experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations
• Background in home health or healthcare settings is desirable
• Familiarity or training in teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Dedication to creating individualized treatment plans
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver direct therapy services, both in-person and through teletherapy, as appropriate
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other support staff to support student IEP goals
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes according to school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insight for student supports and accommodations
• Offer consultation and training to teachers and families on interventions, adaptations, and therapy techniques
• Adapt services for home, classroom, and virtual learning environments as needed
