Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapy license (OTR/L) in Maryland
- Proven experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations
- Background in home health or healthcare settings is desirable
- Familiarity or training in teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Dedication to creating individualized treatment plans
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct therapy services, both in-person and through teletherapy, as appropriate
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other support staff to support student IEP goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes according to school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insight for student supports and accommodations
- Offer consultation and training to teachers and families on interventions, adaptations, and therapy techniques
- Adapt services for home, classroom, and virtual learning environments as needed
