Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of current occupational therapy best practices for children and adolescents
- Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and provide both direct and consultative services
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine needs and develop effective intervention plans
- Deliver occupational therapy services, both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines
- Monitor and document students progress toward therapy objectives
- Communicate regularly with families regarding students growth and strategies for continued support
- Stay current with professional best practices and regulatory requirements in school-based OT
