Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license (IL OT License)
  • Previous experience in schools, especially with elementary resource and self-contained caseloads, preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Adaptability to diverse student needs and environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services onsite to elementary students (resource and self-contained)
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student development
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed
  • Travel between school locations as schedule requires
