Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school environment
• Skilled in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans (IEPs and 504 Plans)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine their abilities and challenges related to classroom performance
• Design and execute tailored therapy interventions to support students participation in school activities
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, creating comprehensive goal documentation
• Educate teachers and staff on strategies and tools to promote student independence
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and ongoing assessments
• Collaborate regularly with families, caregivers, and the wider educational team to ensure continuity of care
• Remain current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy and educational regulations
