Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois
• Prior experience working in school settings preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP documentation and goal development
• Ability to assess and provide intervention for a range of student needs, including sensory, fine motor, and adaptive skills
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of students OT needs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Deliver evidence-based OT interventions to students individually or in group settings
• Communicate progress to teachers, parents, and relevant stakeholders
• Provide strategies and modifications to classroom staff to support student success
• Document services in compliance with school and state requirements
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
